Immigration

Lawyer for Residence Permit in Greece and Property

If you wish to live and work in Greece, our office provides legal advice on the requirements that are necessary in order to obtain a residence permit in Greece without the need for you to travel to Greece prior to your application being approved.

Owners of Property in Greece

By decision of the General Secretary of Decentralised Administration, a residence permit for five (5) years is issued to a third-country citizen, if he/she has obtained a visa, if required, and legally owns, or has, at minimum, a ten-year time-sharing contract, or a 10-year lease of hotel accommodations.

The aforementioned third-country citizen (property owner) may be accompanied by the members of his/her family, as specified under paragraph 1 of Article 54 of Law 3386/2005 & N 4251/ 2014.

The residence permit may be renewed for the same duration (five years), if the property remains unchanged in its legal ownership status & the contracts of ownership remain in effect.

The minimum value of the property and the contract price of the time-share leases and the leases for hotel accommodations or tourist furnished houses is two hundred fifty thousand (250,000) Euro.-

Strategic Investments

In case of investments, which are identified as 'strategic investments' following a decision of the Interministerial Committee for Strategic Investments for inclusion under the provisions of Law 3894/2010 (A204), residence permits may be granted to the legal representative of the strategic investment group and to up to ten (10) persons, whose residence in Greece is considered as a necessary condition for the proper implementation of the investment project, accompanied by their family members, as well as by auxiliary staff in the case of disabled people, to whom an individual residence permit is granted upon request, lasting until the expiration of their sponsor’s residence permit.

Arrangement Of Debts

(Law 3869/2010)

Our office provides legal counseling and representation to individuals dealing with debt problems by submission to the judicial regulation of Law 3869/2010 which deals with over-credited individuals without commercial status who do not have the legal capacity to get bankrupt. The purpose of the law is the settlement or discharge of the debtor from debts that cannot be paid, without intention.

Inheritance Law

Inheritance Law in Greece is dealing with intestate and testamentary succession.

It designates methods by which successors other than heirs are established. These include legacy, fideicommissum, modus, and donation in contemplation of death. It also contains provisions covering disinheritance and the relations of the heir with co-heirs and third parties.
